Now this is a cool card. It was made for a superhero themed birthday party for two people, and I can assure you many drafts were made. On the front of the card are the two legends, Wonder Woman and Superman. Also, there is an altered version of the famous phrase that accompanies the latter, "It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Superman!" Instead I put, "It's a bird, it's a plane, it's..." and then neatly jotted inside is "Your birthday!".

Of course, being a Doctor Who fan, I made a TARDIS! This card was made to say thankyou to a man who lent us the first 3 seasons of Doctor Who to watch when we were first getting into it the TV show. I made it a while back, so bare with me on the picture quality and amateurish style. Regardless of my inexperience at the time, however, it is still a pretty awesome card.

I fiddled a lot with this card. It took a while to get the shapes and colours right, but I must say I'm pretty pleased with the result. The card is very mass producible, as the beads are glued on, not stitched. Perfect for any girly girl under 10..... or over ;).

I made this card for a very good friend of mine. He's a photographer, so I made him a 3D model of a Canon 7d, and stuck it on a blank card. By using a stanley knife I was able to cut inside each lense individually, creating the same, 'going in' kind of effect you get from a real camera.

I made this card for my cousin who is turning 8 next month. It's cute, girly and pretty easy to make, if only the pinwheels would cooperate and jolly well stick together! Notice how the brown paper is rough on one side. This adds to the patchwork, lazy-day feel I get from this card. You can also shake up the colours a bit to suit different people.

Now this is a fun card. I have made something very similar to it before, but the flowers were a lot bigger. A cool thing about this card is that it can easily be changed to suit the person you're giving it to. Also, it was made for a fabulous 40 year old lady I know, but is still suitable for a 5 year old, 12 year old, 17 year old, 21 year old, or any age you want!

This card I made for a friend. I wanted to experiment with the pinwheel and had recently been inspired to try using the little flags. The book I made them out of is a Nancy Drew mystery, a traditional favourite of mine.

This card I made for an awesome friend of mine's bithday that's coming up. It is particularly interesting because I have stitched the numbers on to the paper. Doing this is a creative way to make it special, but probably not the best if you are trying to mass produce them. Like the other cards, by changing the theme you can make it suitable for any gender and age.

This is a new style I've been working with. By crimping the paper and mounting it on 3D stick tabs you can give the card depth, making it more interesting to look at. The card was made for an 8 year old boy, but by simply changing the theme, it can be given to any age and gender.
